About: Leicester General Hospital

I had a hip replacement at the end of October. I was in Ward 19 under the care of my consultant's team.

I had never been a hospital patient before so I didn't know what to expect.

I was only in for 3 days and I had a lovely time!

The nurses were great, the breakfast delivery orderly was very entertaining - you actually looked forward to their visits and dancing.

My surgery went very well, the care was 10/10 and the therapists were very patient helping me to use the equipment you were sent home with.
