About: Darlington Memorial Hospital

stayed in the short stay ward 11 after having a thryoid operation and I can only say the experience was outstanding!!! I was kept informed at every stage by the doctors and nurses. every member of staff ,domestics,day shift and night shift nurses were all fantastic, the food was 5 star hotel quality,the cleanliness was second to none .The staff put patients at ease before their operation [believe me its a worrying time before an op] .The theatre staff are simply excellent making sure you were pain free after surgery... the management of this hospital should be proud of the way their staff are doing their jobs and are an asset to the NHS and Darlington memorial hospital
