My 93 year old sister fell down in her downstairs flat yesterday and rang me in my upstairs flat for help. .
I went to help but could not get in the flat as the key was in the lock from the inside but my sister did manage to get the key out so that I could go in. I myself am 85 and needed to call a neighbour to help me get my sister off the floor and onto a chair.
I called 999 as I was very concerned about her and how badly she had scraped her leg. A paramedic called Paul came very quickly and was very kind the way he treated my sister. He dealt with the injury so well, put a dressing on and arranged for a district nurse to come and see her today. Paul even rang my sister this morning to see how she was and make sure everything was OK.
It was lovely the way we were treated and I’m sure Paul’s call this morning was beyond the service they would normally provide. We appreciated his thoughtfulness and caring.
