"My excellent treatment at Royal Marsden(London)"

I was diagnosed with a malignant melanoma eight years ago. I have been stage III for the past six years

I now have an annual check up at the Royal Marsden, for which I have a round trip of about 400 miles,

I think that they are an outstanding example of the NHS at its very best;

The staff are friedly,efficient and polite. My consultant (Professor Martin Gore) is inspirational. I've found that if I have been worried about anything I have been able to telephone the hospital and speak to a doctor personally for advice.

When I have had tests done they have telephoned me to reassure me that the results were negative without having to wait for a letter to GP.
