I had an operation on a serious ankle injury and the surgeon did a fantastic job. However, the nurse in the fracture clinic still took the outdated view that patients are not allowed to look at their notes or X-rays and I was told off for doing so while waiting for my appointment. Who owns our bodies and information about it?
