"A happy outcome"

About: Royal Papworth Hospital (Papworth Everard)

I had open heart surgery to replace a badly leaking aortic valve on September 19th 2015. I feel like a new woman! The surgeon did a wonderful job and I will always be grateful to them and their team for giving me a new lease of life. All the staff at Papworth Hospital at all times treated me with respect. They were patient and kind always. I am specially grateful to the staff of Higginson ward where I spent 4days. Although I didn't have much appetite for food after my operation, the food I did eat was well presented and tasty and there was always a good choice of menu.

I cannot praise Papworth Hospital too much.

The treatment I received was exemplary.
