I was sent to A&E by my local GP on Friday morning. I arrived about 11.30 and after a slight tooing and froing between A&E and AEMU I was triaged in A&E and quickly assessed with an ECG and passed into resus. All the staff were kind, caring and explained what they were doing and why. The resus team worked quickly and efficiently. The area was bright, well equipped and very clean. I cannot fault the treatment I received and would like to thank all the staff involved. Once was heart rate was stabilised I was kept under observation and eventually discharged around 3.30 pm with good advice about follow up. At 61 years of age this was my first hospital experience and I cannot speak highly enough of the staff and the care I received.
"Excellent treatment in resus majors"
