About: Burnley General Hospital

Yesterday I attended Burnley General Hospital for my procedure. It has to be one of the most memorable days I've ever experienced and at the age of 60, that's a lot of days. The staff on the gynaecology and breast ward are beyond fantastic. The 2 student nurses definitely made my day. From me arriving at 7.30am until the minute I left those two nurses had so much energy and enthusiasm. I was amazed at how enthusiastic they were after such long shifts. They kept me entertained, pain free, comfortable and most importantly, topped up with cups of tea. Preston University and the ward should be proud of what inspiring and excellent young nurses they have working for them. I would like to wish them all the best for their future careers. Thank you all.
