"Problems with the podiatrist"

After being in pain for 17 months with damaged nerves under my toenail I was told that surgery is not an option by a podiatrist. I believe they have put false information on my notes and they made me feel like I was mad. I've previously been told by a specialist that surgery is the only cure for my condition. When asked what else could be done, the podiatrist said nothing. I phoned to complain about the information on my notes which I think is false & was told by the receptionist to go somewhere else for a second opinion. I want to know what I can do next to stop this pain.
