Yesterday arrived at West Cornwall Hospital, for 7.30 am appointment, too early at 7.00am.From the reception desk to the person still hovering the floor,we were made to feel welcome. On entry to the ward reception the staff there were like one big family lots of banter and laughter but all particulars dealt with. The ward was spotless and airy, All routine and anything I asked was explained to me. My surgery which was keyhole was about 10.30 I think. Again everything was explained to me in the pre op room by anaesthetist. Came round on ward about 1.00 pm. Soon was having coffee and toast and drinking plenty of water. Headed for home about 3.00am.
Thank you doctors and all the amazing staff at West Cornwall Hospital. To anyone who is going for this op I am just a bit sore but feeling good.
