About: Whitworth Hospital

Decided to visit Whitworth Minor Injury Unit this morning and what a pleasant experience it was.

No queue, after registering at reception I sat down waiting to be seen.

I think the board said average wait of 4 minutes, I was seen in 60 seconds.

Hand was x-rayed 5 minutes later.

Very reassuring to get a clear understanding of the injury.

Seen again within another 5 minutes, given a splint and referral to fracture clinic organised for on-going treatment.

All staff very polite and helpful.

Would definitely recommend anyone with a minor injury going here first.
