"Excellent care from Maternity Services"

I sincerely hope that no one in the local area has any concerns about having their baby at Queen's Hospital. If for whatever reason you do, I would like to take this opportunity to assure you that there is absolutely no reason to. The care my baby and I received was excellent.

The Maternity Unit has access to every kind of healthcare professional you could need and is supported by an excellent Anaesthetic Department. Every single member of staff that I met was caring, professional, compassionate and respectful.

I was reassured throughout what I considered to be a difficult birth but at all times I was confident that my baby and I were in safe hands and everything was going to be ok. Labour can be a distressing experience but to be completely assured that you and your baby are being cared for makes it so much easier to deal with.

Thank you to everyone who cared for me and my baby :)

Congratulations on the birth of your baby, I am very pleased to hear about your excellent experience and it is wonderful to hear that all the staff you met treated you well and went out of their way to provide you with the best experience possible. Everyone in the maternity department has worked extremely hard to make sure that all our women we care for get a positive experience and I am very proud of them. Your comments will be passed onto them. Thank you for taking the time to make us aware of your experience.
