My partner had orthotics fitted at Ealing hospital. First, unlike when I had my orthotics made at a different hospital, he had to book separate appointments, weeks apart, to have his first consultation appointment and the actual insole fitting. Then, after having the fitting he had to wait for over two months to pick them up. When he went to collect them, they were wrong, but the hospital staff said they did not have the time to refit them then, so he went back again a month later. Anyway, he has now been back to the hospital seven times and the orthotics are still not ready. We've given up now. Ealing is not an easy hospital to get to if you don't have a car (which we don't), so it's just not worth it anymore. It really shouldn't be that hard to get this right - my orthotics were sorted within a month and were perfect, first time round.
