"A & E and Maxillofacial"

May I just take this opportunity to say a massive thank you to the above departments...I attended a & e on Monday 23rd November, severe facial pain due to possible abscess...I was already booked in December to see the Maxillofacial team but was told to go to hospital by my gp......I had been in pain since the Thursday before and had had no sleep at all and was literally climbing the walls, pacing the floor, the pain was just awful.....within 2 hours of attending a&e I was pain free, sent home with morphine and antibiotics and was given a date to attend the Maxillofacial clinic the next day! I attended the clinic yesterday and now booked for surgery ! Such a fast and efficient service, just can't thank the hospital enough x
