"Chikder hospital"

About: Queen's Medical Centre

Firstly staff are more than doing there best in a bad situation.

with my stay on the ward d33 this week few things really concerned me

Beds weren't changed unless ask.

One toilet had bugs on the floor

One had sewage problem and was point out by myself to a doc and another parent this toilet was across from under 1's when when speaking to the doc about my child now having direaha who h only appear when we arrive on the ward I was reasured by being told it was probably the virus or gastroenteritis when pointing out the loo would be helping the now maitance was called on from Saturday to the Monday pm .

The floor were dirty the staff were stretch beyond belief 12 babys intotal over then weekend with over he first only 2 night staff they work over time. It's a real shame as the staff as and are amazing it a shame they have to work in such poor condition prescription always take a while but over 24 hours is shocking seeing 4 different doctors in space one day is impressive on one hand but contradictive on the other being rd my child excama was actually impatigo a contagious skin condition to the being told by a consultant it wasn't but then being sent home with the prescription .

Just really worry for a childerens hospital the staff are doing the best but the nah system is failing them and baby children are suffering . One parent was requesting a transfer after her child not seeing the correct doctor .

Feedback is the only way I hope this information is help in improving other experience . Some parents in the ward had been the weeks .

Your staff from a and e to admissions to d33 deserve medals not overtime !! X
