"Poor patient care"

About: Whiston Hospital

Visited A&E after fainting and hitting my head breaking my nose and continuously vomiting. I was taken to an asseent room and seen by a very rude doctor who did not look up at their clip board once in the 20seconds I spoke to them. I was then left for 2 hours in a cold room (they had no clean blankets for me) nobody came to check on me or tell me what was going on. The nurses we're chasing each other round throwing things at each other with something at 4am in the morning & one even had their feet up on the desk when my boyfriend went to enquire. Then to find out we had to wait another five & a half hours just to see the doctor. I shortly had my bloods taken and the nurse said some one would be in to tell me what would happen next! After a long five- six hours I got myself out of bed to find out what was happening to be told the doctor would be would be a couple more hours! I ended up discharging myself rather that lay in a cold room shaking unable to sleep because of the noises nurses! I'm really upset with the poor patient care, I still went home with my face covered in the same blood as I arrived!

Absolutely appalling.

It may not be the biggest injury they see everyday but to me it was a scary situation I just wish the nurses took it a little more seriously.

I actually fear for the the rest of your patients.
