"Not at all happy"

About: Lister Hospital

After my son having an op on his testicles on 4th Nov that wasn't healing, we came bk on 21St Nov,after waiting to be put on the ward until 4am we had a range of tests done, which went well.

We then waited from 12 in the afternoon and still are at 8pm for someone from urology to come and check the results and send us home. After being bleeped numerous times and contacted by the sister we were still waiting. The staff in the children's unit were great but I was discusted with having to wait so long just to be told we could go home.

I understand that they are busy but 5 minutes was all it would have taken and then there would have been a free bed too. That was after my son was used as a pin cushion just to get a blood sample. Not at all happy.

We're sorry that you were disappointed with the service that you and your son had recently at the Lister.

Whilst often our doctors may be involved in looking after very sick patients, any delay should have been explained to you better.

If you email generalenquiries.enh-tr@nhs.net, we would be more than happy to get this followed up for you.
