We visited the A & E Minor Injury Department today after my daughter injured her little finger during a football match. She arrived, was x-rayed and had her finger put into a splint within 1.1/2 hours. It was a nasty injury but the specialist treatment she received from the consultant was absolutely first class, the consultant was very caring and kind and their attitude towards her was brilliant and the consultant calmed her down so that they could carry out the procedure whilst talking her through what was happening at all times.

The consultant is an asset to the hospital and in our opinion deserves a big pay rise!
