"Excellent clinical care at Queen Elizabeth..."

About: Queen Elizabeth Hospital (London)

My husband who is suffering from lung cancer was admitted to ward 14b on Tuesday 17th November, whilst he was there he received what I can only describe as excellent professional care from the nurses and doctors who treated him. The warmth of the nursing staff particularly made a massive difference to both my husband and myself. In addition the help we have received from the occupational therapist, physio's, and palliative care team have gone a long way to improving our quality of life at home. I must add that our experience in a&e was also very good. This is a very busy hospital and I feel that the service they provide is exceptional given the pressures they are under.

Thank you for your kind comments regarding the Emergency Department, we are working very hard to provide the highest standard of care possible and it is a pleasure to hear such positive feedback about our department. This will be shared with the ED team and will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback
