"Wonderfully treated!"

I recently underwent urgent eye surgery to repair a torn retina and would like to offer my thanks to everyone concerned with my treatment From my initial appointment in Accident and Emergency through to the operation itself, less than 48 hours later, I was treated wonderfully by every member of staff that dealt with me It is a shame that I didn’t note down the names of all of the magnificent staff as each one of them deserves individual praise, unfortunately the only names that I do recall were the VR Specialist Nurse Rita McLaughlin and the surgeon Mr Hopley.

The NHS does receive a great deal of “flak” and bad press, so, I think it only fair that the balance should be a little redressed by ensuring that I compliment the excellent treatment that I received..

Again, I would like to express my sincere thanks to everyone involved. I’m not completely in the clear yet but I’m getting there, all thanks to the wonderful Manchester Royal Eye Hospital and the kindly, helpful highly skilled people who work there.
