"No access for disabled outpatients"

About: Ealing Hospital

I had an appointment to which I duly arrived with a good half an hour to spare in order to find the disabled parking and the clinic. Following the signpost I found disabled parking, about six of them for a hospital of this size. Not surprisingly they were all occupied.

So drove around and found the building for outpatients and discovered that it is on top of a slope I could not possibly climb. There was nobody to help, not even a security guard for the car park. The only way to park for anybody who uses mobility aids was to straddle two parking places otherwise the car door could not be opened fully . I had to turn around and get home.

I immediately wrote to PALs and asked them to let the relevant clinic know what'd happened.

Today I received a letter which in fact kicked me out because I did not turn up for my appointment.,Nobody bothered to ask me why.
