"Secretary cancelled appointment"

About: Solihull Hospital

I have had problems with both my hips, left hip repaired through having a break. The consultant had written in letter that it be an open appointment should their be any other issues. The Secretary to the consultant said no that appointment was only open for three months. My GP made a call to the appointments system and they gave me an appointment for 1stDec 2015, the next thing that happened is the secretary to consultant phoned up my GP surgery to cancel it. OMG who do they think they are...so now I have to wait for another appointment which could take five wks before a wait for a further operation. And in so much pain with hips... I did have an appointment, but the secretary thought it was in their power to cancel it..How rude.

Just shows appointments are there, but beware secretaries that cancel them for you. I will be taking this matter further.
