1. Had 7 day cardio tape fitted by a technician . Device kept beeping and halfway through day 2 I removed it as the noise was driving me senseless..
Called cardiology a number of times on different days for advice but no one picked up. Returned device with note explaining problem and that I had to remove it after 12 hours.
Astonishingly, my consultant received report from Cardiology stating that my tape revealed that all was OK.
How is that ? 2. Received another appointment for another fitting, so I called Barnet hospital (as you cannot contact Chase Farm) over 3 weeks ago to see if my appointment could be there as I live in Edgware and find the distance too much following my stroke (I'm not driving and there is no direct travel link).
Last time it took me over 3 hours to get to an appointment that lasted under 5 minutes.
Was told they would they would try to rearrange and they would call me. No calls from hospital at all. Called 20/11/15 as my appointment is on 24th only to be told there is nothing. Staff was rude and unhelpful and stated if I wanted the test I would have to attend the original appointment.
So tell me, out of all the hospitals under Royal Free NHS Trust am I sent to the one furthest away from my address and who I have so little faith in.
"Problems..."
