What I liked

I could not fault the care I received in Wards 4y and 5y. I was admitted to the hospital 3 times between end of March and end of May. During this time I had two operations and had exceptional care from the Surgeon, the team and all the nursing staff especially on 4y! Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for the nursing staff although they were very busy

What could be improved

As previous comments have stated the Acute Assessment unit was awful. Although i was re-admitted via my GP with related problems to previous admissions I still had to stay in this unit till nearly midnight before seeing a doctor - most unacceptable and the worst part of being admitted to Peterborough Hospital.
