About: Queen's Hospital / Neurology

(as the patient),

I have still not received any form of apology from this hospital or the neurologist involved with regards my complaint. The chief executive has stated he will not be looking into the problems I encountered. The responses I have received from the chief executive have consisted of probably no more than 15 words in each correspondence. This is in stark contrast to other hospitals responses. I have come to the conclusion that the current chief executive probably has not even read my initial complaint and would probably work very nicely alongside the neurologist I made a complaint about (in the sense of their letter writing skills).

The neurologist I saw at Queen's got my diagnosis completely and totally wrong which meant I had 2 strokes. Their diagnosis was I needed psychiatric help which was really useful.

Mr. Bavetta is a NEUROSURGEON not a neurologist. I also had neurosurgery under the care of Mr. Benjamin approx. 2-3 years ago which went very well and I was treated with respect and dignity.

Maybe there is just a problem with neurologists and there is some hidden resentment and bitterness in that they can just never make it to the top like the neurosurgeons.
