"Still waiting for results"

Came in 8 weeks ago after a fairly scary letter after my first smear, was told I was to have lletz treatment there and then without any explanation. Was told results would be back within 6 weeks, have now waited 8 weeks and still nothing. Phoned after 3 weeks because i was due to have surgery and was told results would be typed up and sent to me. Kept being told the reason I hadn't got them was because my notes were elsewhere. At 6 weeks was fobbed off with the same excuse and told that they couldn't tell me for data protection reasons so presented myself in clinic and still nothing. Was also told they would fax results to my doctors, again nothing. Here I am 8 weeks on having had other surgeries worrying about whether everything is ok. Absolutely appalling.
