"Post Operative discharge"

About: Basildon University Hospital

My nineteen year old granddaughter had a gynaecological operation on Monday 16th November to remove a large Ovarian Cyst .She was discharged on Wednesday 18th with a dressing covering the wound site and appropriate medication, however, no instructions have been given regarding care of the wound, change of dressing, nor were wound packs and dressings given.

No District Nurse has been arranged to check the wound. No advice at all has been given.
