On Friday November 13th I attended the day treatment centre for a varicose vein procedure. I arrived before 0730 and was promptly admitted in a friendly and professional manner. In quick succession I met the surgeon and anaesthetist and after a few hours went down to surgery. My last words were caol isla as I discussed the merits of single malt whisky with the anaesthetist and I woke up feeling slightly jet lagged. After 2 cups of very welcome coffee and observations I went home . I have suffered absolutely no pain or problems. Please stop knocking the NHS, I had an excellent experience and found the whole team of people professional, courteous and friendly.
