"A & E an utter shambles"

About: Whiston Hospital

Arrived at A&E having been told by my GP to make my way to Whiston. Was triaged very quickly. Was then seen by a doctor who seemed put out that I would bother the department with my illness. Bloods were taken and was told to wait in a dirty sub wait area with 2 drunk and verbally agressive men.

The doctor arrived back about 2 hours later and took me to a filthy bed, and stated 'oh this room will do' despite being unclean and having another patients urine sample on the side.

Was told that I would have to put up with the pain and given some anti biotics to treat an infection.

The doctor seemed more upset that my test results showed that I was a heavy drinker (despite never touching any alcohol ever) after telling them this they failed to believe me and was sent on my way.

A sheer lack of care from the doctor and being placed in a filthy room really shows what this hospital is like.
