"Critical care"

About: The Royal London Hospital

I would like to thank the critical care and trauma teams and also the plastic surgery doctors for helping to save my dads life. After a horrific accident at home in his workshop my dad required surgery. The nurses on the resus unit gave us time as a family after he had been stabilised to come to terms with his injury and to see he was ok. They kept us informed of everything they were doing and could not have been more helpful. I'm pleased to say my dads surgery was a success! He has a long road ahead but after 72 hours of stress and worry he is home with us and is doing brilliantly thanks to the amazing staff and brilliant surgeons! We will be forever grateful. Also a thanks to the lovely nurses on ward 12c for caring for him and making sure he had everything he needed as well as making sure we as a family were kept informed of his care.

Dear Grateful daughter

It is great to hear that your dad is recovering well from his surgery.

Thank you for taking time to post a review on the treatment and care your dad received whilst he was with us. Our staff work hard not only to treat and care for our patients, but also to make sure that patients’ families are kept well informed throughout what can be a stressful and upsetting time.

Your kind words have been sent over to the Trauma, Critical Care, Plastic Surgery Teams and to the staff on ward 12c for them all to see.

Wishing you all the best

Barts Health NHS Trust
