I have had 3 daysurgery procedures on BCC's (Basal Cell Carninomas) caused by sun damage. A biopsy of one site on my sternum was diagnosed as a Squamous Carcinoma Cell which needed radiotherapy I went to The Royal Marsden Sutton not knowing what to expect. I was treated in the Laurel Unit and could not have been more impressed by the efficienty of the reception staff and then absolutely bowled over by the wonderful care and efficiency.
On each of the 5 sessions of therapy I underwent I was reassured and felt very very safe in their hands when everything was checked out from personal details like name address and date of birth on each of the 5 occasions where I received just a 5 minute burst of radiotherapy. It made me feel it was worthwhile the one and half hour journey from Tooting where I live.
Thankyou for your cheerfulness and dedication to your profession.
