I am recovering from a surgical operation which involved a hysterectomy and repair.

I really enjoyed my stay as a patient on Downing ward last week. My room was clean and comfortable and quiet. All my visitors were made welcome throughout the day. More importantly every single member of staff that came through that door was kind, friendly and respectful. their professional expertise evident in my rapid recovery and return home.

All of my meals were fresh, healthy and well prepared.

Special thanks to the surgeon who performed an operation that I felt desperately in need of and which went well.
