"Broken Arm"

About: West Middlesex University Hospital

I managed to break my arm and dislocated the elbow. The A&E response was excellent (Ambulance Service was non existent).

In four hours, I had a CT Scan, X-rays and had my treatment completed.

Follow up virtual clinic was quick; great idea, just phone you and chat with the x-rays they already have. The actual subsequent visit to Outpatients was seamless. I had expected a two or three hour wait. I was in, inital consultation, over to X Ray, back to Consultant for review of said X-Rays and the treatment set out. All within an hour.

The only disapointment was that I didn't get to read all the magazines I had brought with me to cope wiht the long wait that never happenned.

In impressive service

Dear Richard,

Thank you so much for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. We're sorry you needed us but are pleased to hear you had such a positive experience, both in A&E and Orthopaedics. We have forwarded your kind comments on to the relevant teams here who will really appreciate them.

Kind regards,

Communications team
