"Breast Clinic"

About: Basildon University Hospital

My docotor referred me to Basildon Breast Clinic on the Thursday. Monday morning I received a telephone message on my home number and then my mobile phone offering me an appointment within 2 weeks. A letter came the following day. I do not think I could have asked for a more efficient booking system.

Today I attended that appointment. The booking in clerk was friendly and efficient and made me very welcome with clear concise instruction onhow to get to the breast clinic. I was spoken to very quickly and made welcome. consultation room was clean tiday, right and warm. Consultant and chaperoning nurse were friendly and gave clear, concise explanation. Mammography nurs and ultra sound nurse were also very friendly and gave very clear explanation of what was going to happen and made sure I was comfortable. Doctor who gavr mr results on behalf of consultant was charming, friendlu and very helpful.

Waiting room toilet and changing cubicles clean. Waiting room really needs to be a little larger so that people do not have to stand and wheelchairs do inot impede movement but this is not a critcism just an observation.

On today's experience I would certainly recommend the Breast Clinic to others
