"Outstanding care"

My husband stayed on Frederick Salmon ward many times over the past two years and each time was treated with the utmost care. The staff have always been attentive and nothing has been too much trouble.

Unfortunately my husband passed away after a very long illness during his last stay and the care given and empathy shown towards my husband and my family was truly outstanding. The whole team are amazing but some members went beyond the call of duty to ensure that my husband was treated with respect and he was comfortable and well cared for. They were also very thoughtful and compassionate towards all of us, even helping me find accomodation so I could remain close to the hospital.

I was quite overwhelmed by the actions of the staff. Nothing was too much trouble.

There was always someone on hand to talk to if we needed to and every need was met without problem.

I honestly believe that my husband and my family could not have had better care.

We are extremely grateful to all concerned.
