"No trust in staff"

About: Royal Hallamshire Hospital

After several extremely bad experiences at Sheffield teaching hospitals I was going to give this department the benefit of the doubt - I am under Barnsley hospital but consultant apparently from this hospital.

Called to change appointment in December (letter dated 21/10/2015) offered earlier appointment in November, when I had not received promised letter of confirmation I called again on 11/11/2015 to be told it had been posted on 11/10/2015!!! when I pointed out that this would have been impossible as I had called after 21/10/2015 person on the phone became stroppy and said they were printing a letter off as we were speaking and it would be posted out first class - This did not happen - the letter that I eventually received was printed on 12/11/2015 and posted second class.

How can these people be trusted to do anything more complicated if they cannot even manage to post a letter or admit a mistake and apologise. Definitely feel that they would lie to cover any mistake.

I am so sorry to read your posting that has only just come to our attention. Clearly there have been administrative issues and I wish to apologise for this on behalf of the Trust.
