"My first experience in A&E"

About: Southampton General Hospital

From the moment I was collected from my local GP Surgery I felt I was in safe hands.

The ambulance staff were reassuring during the journey.

On arrival in A&E I was impressed by the professional care and attention given to me.

Everyone was very kind and reassuring and took great care of me. All the Nurses were excellent and the A&E Dr. that saw me explained everything to me and this kept me calm.

The CD Unit was very calm and the staff did an excellent job.

I can only say that in my experience the negativity about the NHS is totally unfounded.

You are first class. Thanks.
