Approx 5 months ago, and after trying numerous drugs to cope with my fear of flights, I decided to ask for help from the NHS in the form of Therapy. Unsure of what to expect I arrived at my first meeting where I met Adam, what a difference he has made, sometimes it felt like we discussed nothing particular, but somewho it has helped. The main thing Adam taught me was that the fear of flying was more than just an isolated thing, and it stemmed from overall anxiety, he taught me to challenge my anxious thoughts and with the help of a few easy steps, I can now comfortably do this! I would advise anyone that has any fear of seeing therapists, not too, especially if you can meet someone as good as Adam! I cant speak for everyone who goes through these experiences, but I can honestly say I can battle my anxious thoughts head on! heres to the bright future!
