I don't normally bother with reviews or feedback but have taken a few minutes to do so on this occasion. I was taken into hospital a couple of nights ago via A&E, the staff there were fantastic. Quite promptly I was transferred to ward 14. I can't thank or admire the staff in this ward enough. They are quiet obviously understaffed as they never stop but still manage to be polite, extremely social able, professional and understanding. It's very annoying that you spend time In there watching others complain and moan about the staff when in hind site if these people realised its a hospital not a hotel with room service then they'd realise what a great job these men and women do. And as for Junior doctors, if they do end up striking then we all need to support them, as without them the whole process would fail as they appear to be the onces, (After the Nurses & HCA's) working the long hours, doing the regular ward rounds and patient qualifications. My only criticism would be, this service needs to be consistent through out the wards. I was transferred to another ward and for all the staff were just as professional in there Nursing duties, the general up keep and appearance of the ward was a different story, however this again is a consequence of staffing levels and completely out of the hands of those Doctors and Nurses. Thank you.
"Thank you."
