"First Class treatment in the A&E department"

About: Worthing Hospital

I was admitted to the A&E department in the late evening of 15th September 2015 with a broken arm. I was immediately struck by the impressive cleanliness of this area and from the reception staff, to the Xray staff and through to the doctors and nurses everyone was extremely kind and treated me with the utmost dignity and respect, explaining clearly at each stage what was to happen. After my discharge the following morning I was even provided with something to eat while waiting to be collected. As I was on holiday on Sussex I had asked to be referred to my local hospital for further treatment. Would that I had met there the standards found in Worthing!

Thank you so much for leaving this feedback which was lovely to read. We are so pleased that you had such a good experience and will pass on your comments to the departments you mention whom will be delighted. We do hope that your arm is fully healed and the rest of your holiday was a pleasant one.
