"Excellent care on ward 14"

About: Friarage Hospital Site

My very elderly mother was recently admitted to ward 14 - the mental health assessment ward. I was extremely anxious about what the ward might be like but I need not have worried as on arrival I immediately felt confident that she was in the best possible place.

The unit was comfortable, cheerful and well designed. The staff were all exceptionally professional and also very kind and caring. The care she received was outstanding.

Thank you for your feedback regarding the care and treatment your mother received during her admission to Ward 14 at the Friarage Hospital, Northallerton.

Staff on Ward 14 are employed by Tees, Esk & Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust, and I shall therefore forward your comments to their Patient Experience Department for their attention.
