"From the bottom of my heart thankyou"

About: St James's University Hospital

On the 8th November I arrived via ambulance at this hospital after taking a large overdose of paracetemol in a non suicide gesture. The staff i dealt with were extremely professional and helpful and not at one point did they judge me harshly. I was transferred to the CDU ward and the staff on that ward were so incredibly friendly and professional I could have cried. Even when I was sobbing my heart out at 1am due to a skin reaction the to antidote they immediately got a doctor and helped me calm down. I can't thank them enough for all the help they gave me and all the advice so thankyou from the bottom of my heart. Please pass this on to them

Dear Dani

Thank you for taking the time to write to us.

Your post is very encouraging to read and I am so pleased that you had such a positive experience whilst in our care.

I have passed your comments on to the relevant matron and have asked that he share them with his team.

Kind regards

Rosie Horsman
