"Unprofessional and heartless"

I went yesterday for 28 week sugar blood test. The person, who took my blood did not check my referral 1st. They did my bloods, and then asked me to wait “just to check” and told me that they forgot to take one more test- sugar one. And said they’ll have to do another blood test and they were surprised why I’m unhappy about it. They said:”It causes you no pain and if you get swollen arm tomorrow- it’s nothing.” 1st of all it is painful when some one sticks a needle into you and then digs inside. Today I have 2 arms that painful to move and a big blue bruise. And if they are not aware of simple blood test complications, they should at least Google it.

The other person in the room could not find my vein at all and was also with running nose, same a secretary. I think if medical personal is sick – they should stay home or put a mask on.

The blood room personal also ignored my questions and took a fasting sugar (as they explained) 2 hr after I had my sugary juice.

I feel now that I can not trust my blood results when it’ll be ready since they mixed up with this fasting sugar.
