I had my hip operation on Tuesday 10th November 2015.

I was overwhelmed by the fantastic care and attention that I received by the dedicated team at Wansbeck hospital.

My journey started with a phone call on the 5th November inviting me to the hospital for my operation. The secretary delivered the best news I've had in a long time, they were very helpful. The following week I went in for the operation I was met by the pre assessment team, they made me feel at ease from the moment I went through the door.

I was then taken to the theatre the anaesthetist team were very reassuring and caring.

The operation was successful and went to plan. The doctor came to visit me after the operation and was very professional.

Overall I had a very positive experience at Wansbeck hospital. The staff were very professional, caring and helpful. The nurses also made my wife feel at ease whilst I was in the operation.
