I did find many years ago that Kings is the only hospital (I know many in London) that it's first directive is Patient Care, not just on papers but in practice at all tines.I am an outpatient at Kings for almost 10 years and a long my journey I had to go to other departments where I was treated with respect, cared for and kindness.
As long as I can remember I have always wanted to be a organ donor, however I had silly "ghosts" about it and about the etic of all process. I even imagined that someone could kill me in a hospital to sell my organs.
I conquered my fears and I did it thanks to Kings and the way I have been treated through the years consistently.
I am an organ donor for the last three years.
I am grateful of all the care I receive in the hospital and one day I may save the life or/and lives of someone else and all thanks to a great hospital and every person that work there, from doctors to cleaners. Thank you!
