I was admitted to ADSU on 12/11/15 for surgery to L5 nerve root, staff we're kind , understanding and very efficient despite being very busy.
When my time came I was escorted to the Anaesthetic room by a nurse , who handed over my details to the Theatre Practioner , they were so professional and made me relaxed and at ease knowing they knew what emotions we go through as a patient, the Consultant Anaesthetist then explained that we would get me comfortably positioned in theatre and administer a light sedation .
The surgeon then explained everything they intended to do under X-Ray control.
So the sedation and procedure began and the next thing I can remember was being in recovery , with a pain free leg. Excellent recovery and then it was time to return to ADSU and finally home
I know there are many more staff involved in my overall experience but I simply can't name all
Thanks so much to everyone else who played their part
