Have always found the nurses and doctors in A&E very caring and efficient it's only if you need to go past that process and be on a ward where communication can sometimes fail. Admin is not as efficient as it could be and thus causes delays in people going home. The suggestion is that all emails should be followed up with phone calls as I know from experience these can sit in mailboxes before action is taken. Records should be kept of communication. This is mostly experuence from when my mother has been admitted a few times. I was lucky and saw a great nurse (don't know their name) who stuck my forehead together for me and I'd only waited just over an hour which is good for Queens. I attended on Monday 9th Nov 2015 at UCC Dept between 2-3.15pm and the nurse was very efficient and kind. I would ask that you thank them for me.
