"referral for mammogram"

About: Burnley General Hospital

I had thorough examination by my GP andeveryghing appearing normal, I was refered for mammogram as a precaution . I had to wait a considerable time for a physical check which I felt unnecessary . I then had a mammogram and the results sent back to the consultant. I went back to out patients and informed them I was back, however I was obviously forgotten as people were seen quite quickly for the same treatment but I waited 45 minutes for my results. I asked a nurse if I should be waiting or ask my GP for results and they said there were 2 more before me! I was called in straight after they said this!! I have to add, as I walked passed the open room where the Dr was, there were severe nurses in with the Dr.

laughing and chatting, not a patient in sight!
