"30 seconds.."

About: Heartlands Hospital

Attended the clinic after 8 Gp visits over a year and a half and finally a referral from minor injuries. The 'doctor' I saw had no interest in hearing anything I had to say about the matter and seemed to flippantly dismiss me after approximately 30 seconds of me sitting down. Obviously they did not look at any of the notes and the resolution? Come back in 2 months. Unfortunately I know for a fact my problem will be back in full swing by then, so will have wasted days off work all to be back at the starting line.

Overall I am disgusted that wheras minor injuries has scheduled an apointment for preparation, then a further appointment in a weeks time to have the procedure completed, I am instead simply dismissed in this way. I have had enough of suffering and now am more likely to perform this surgery on myself at home.

Only positive side I saw there was the desk staff were polite and friendy with patients. Maybe I caught the doctor on a bad day, or just got the one doctor who loves wasting peoples time.

Thankyou Nhs ent department for my 30 seconds of thought.
