"It all works perfectly"

About: East Ayrshire Council Care At Home & Housing Support Service (North Locality)

(as a service user),

I have carers in the morning and all are very nice girls. It’s lots of different girls that come but I know them all. I like that it’s different people, it’s a bit of variety.

The carers only come 5 days a week, I chose not to have them on Saturday or Sunday because I like to have a long lie. I’m usually up and showered before they come. The carers ask what I need done when they arrive and do jobs around the house for me like empty the bins, do the dishes or put a washing on.

I also have a cleaner once a week who does everything else around the house, he’s great. My granddaughter arranges my shopping and it gets delivered when the cleaner is in so he puts it all away.

It all works perfectly.

Dear xhouse

Thank you for taking the time to provide very positive feedback about the Care At Home support you currently receive and if you don't mind I will pass these comments onto the carers.

I am glad that you know the carers, all of whom are nice and you enjoy a variety of carers coming into the house. I am pleased to note that carers ask you what you would like them to do while they are in your home and I hope you continue to enjoy your long lie on a Saturday and Sunday.

Catriona
